Aluminum Die Casting Services for Custom Components
HH is a premium supplier of die casting parts and can offer many different die casting solutions based on your exact project specifications by starting from reviewing customer’s technical requirements, following to prototyping, mold fabrication, trial run, PPAP, and mass production, ensuring that your part is suitable for the environment where it will perform. With a historical legacy of continuous improvement, we are your best choice for any die casting project.
What Is High Pressure Die Casting
High pressure die casting, commonly called as “HPDC”, is a cost-efficient and highly engineered manufacturing method which the process injects molten metal at high speed under high pressure into a closed steel die cavity called “mold”. The die is divided into half stationary and half moving mounted to the die casting machine’s platens. Once the molten metal has solidified, the die is opened and the part is ejected from the mold, and following to remove gates and flash for secondary machining operations. Then the die is closed up and the process is repeated in rapid succession. This process can produce various product forms with high quantities of accurate parts in a short period of time.
Die Casting Aluminum Alloy
Aluminum has been the most popular die cast metal due to its lightweight, superior corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, and high thermal and electrical conductivity. By using Aluminum alloy, HH is able to produce strong, durable, high-performing components to meet a wide variety of customer needs.
Advantages of High Pressure Aluminum Die Casting
The HPDC process is capable of producing complex shapes in high volume at great speed than other metal casting or forming technologies. If you are looking for the most economic, efficient technology to produce your components in a durable metal form, the high pressure die casting process is the solution because of a number of important benefits including:
HPDC can produce parts with excellent dimensional accuracy that requires less machining.
HPDC offers a broader range of shapes than other manufacturing processes, making it easy to customize the casting to specific manufacturing processes.
The cost per casting in high volume production run is lower than other casting processes due to the long wear life of tooling.
Thousands of identical castings can be produced in a very short time.
Die casting parts are stronger than plastic injection moldings and can be produced with thinner wall sections that are not possible with other casting processes.
Casting surfaces are smoother and easily painted, plated and many more.
Integral parts such as nuts, studs can be easily incorporated with die casting as holes can be formed as part of the die casting.
The die casting is known for its incredibly mechanical properties, which is suitable for mass production.
